Built in 1991, The Grand Banks 49 Classic ‘Margara’ endures as a timeless motor yacht that still embodies the classic charm of Grand Banks yachts. 

Measuring 15,39m in length, the Margara offers ample room for extended stays and journeys, accommodating multiple guests on board in her three cabins:

• The owner’s cabin at the vessel’s stern has a freestanding bed and a private bathroom.
• One guest cabin on the front of the boat boasts a V-shaped bed.
• One guest cabin situated on the port side features two single beds.

These two guest cabins share a bathroom. 

Within the expansive saloon, a lengthy sectional sofa lines the starboard side, complemented by two chairs on the opposite end.

There’s a hot air heating system for enhanced comfort during colder days, and the vessel has air conditioning installed for warmer days.

Margara’s galley is well-appointed, boasting a Seallard stove and a dual refrigerator. 

Disembarkation of the Grand Banks is made simple by utilizing the gangway, conveniently positioned at the rear of the dock.

Propelled by two powerful Caterpillar 375 hp engines and benefiting from NAIAD stabilizers, the Margara ensures a comfortable sailing experience, even with less favourable weather conditions, and can prolong its stays in locations lacking shore power thanks to the robust 16 kW generator.

In 2022, the Grand Banks underwent an upgrade with a new antifouling application.
